Intel claims to have completed android4.1 transplant


Intel has ported Google Android 4.1 OS, as we know the "jelly bean" work, low-power Atom chip code-named Medfield on smartphone.The dual-core chips will use 22-nanometer level process, compared to the current 32-nanometer chip, more power, more strong.The chip will be a follow-up, in the current single-core Atom Z2000 chip, which runs at 1GHz, but has not been used for smart phones.

Currently, very few handset manufacturers the application Intel Mobile CPU chip. Intel set foot shorter smartphone chip market acceptance still needs to be improved. Intel chips cost the high price, but also the manufacturers do not want to promote the important reasons.

Motorola and Intel have released a new teaser ahead of their presentation next week in London. That would be the international release of the freshly-revealed DROID RAZR M, which comes sporting a 4.3-inch edge-to-edge AMOLED Display. Intel’s in on this tease because the international RAZR M will have an Intel Medfield processor running the show. That’s in comparison to Verizon’s version of the DROID RAZR M, which has an S4 Snapdragon processor under the hood.
For Intel, Intel needs to immediately solve the problem of how to reduce cpu prices and increase profits.In fact, the moviles android phone CPU chip does not require too excellent performance.The high-performance high energy consumption is inevitable, and even increasing in the level of technology, efficiency and energy consumption can never be unified.
In the mobile phone chip industry, Qualcomm and Nvidia is already quite mature, Intel intends to determine the market performance, which will be a stupid decision.
